Best Easter Cocktails on the internet!

We’re super excited seeing all these fabulous Easter cocktails when on the internet.  As we plan our Good Friday affair we’re hosting, our eyes light up at all the wonderful ideas that we can bring to life.

With so much to choose from we thought we’d provide you with a curated collection of the best Easter cocktails on the internet.

Easter Cocktails

Creme Egg Cocktail // Cottontail Martini // Chocolate Martini // Hot Cross Bun Martini

OMG how good do these look!  I am thinking perhaps a champagne station of some sort including the Easter Strawberry Champagne to start with because we don’t want to overload and make ourselves sick.  However an array of chocolate inspired cocktails to accompany our desserts won’t go astray.

We can’t forget about the kids now can we!  Check out our selection that will be sure to see some eyes light up.  I think the key with the kids drinks is less is more.  Using small milk bottles or glasses ensure they get the excitement of a special Easter drink without serving something up that is going to go to waste or make them feel unwell.

I think we’re going to have to pace ourselves, but that’s what happens when you invite people over for a lunch isn’t it.  It lasts a while and you graze throughout the day.  Or drink in this case!

6 Fun Easter Activities for Kids

Easter is such a fun time of year and another wonderful opportunity to get together with loved ones to celebrate. This year we’ll be getting together with friends to host a Good Friday Luncheon and again on Easter Monday for brunch in the park with our local community. So much fun! We love preparing for Easter in the weeks leading up and decorating our home to get in the spirit.

When the kids were a little younger we’d get our craft on too.

So in the spirit of Easter we thought we’d share some Fun Easter Activities for Kids that you can do with your family in the lead up to Easter or as a great activity to keep the kids entertained when everyone comes together to celebrate.

6 Fun Easter Activities for Kids

1/ Egg Grass Heads

In the lead up to Easter, Egg Grass Heads is a fun idea. Kids loving watching the grass / hair grow, it’s such a novelty. They can prune the hair and create different looks for each of the Egg Grass Heads. It’s a great activity as a family and allows little ones to learn a little about growing seeds too.

2/ Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft

The Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft is a nice messy free craft activity that can easily be completed by a group of children without too much stress. You can pre-prepare all the essential pieces prior to the activity and the finish products can be displayed on the wall or fridge to add a little extra festivity to your home. How cute are they?

3/ Shaving Cream Painted Easter Eggs

This craft is a little more-messy so it’s not for the faint hearted, but the end result looks fantastic and the kids will have a load of fun. It’s a great sensory activity as it allows the kids to really get their hands dirty.

A little preplanning is recommended on this one and if you’re worried about the mess perhaps even run it outdoors. Once completed you can stick your eggs on the wall or even hole punch the tops of the eggs and make a Easter Garland to display in the home.

4/ Pin the tail on the Bunny

This printable is super cute and is a great activity when hosting guests over Easter. Grab the kids together and run a pin the tail on the bunny game, it will keep the kids occupied for a little bit as well as create a little excitement.

5/ Easter Bunny Bean Bag Toss

We love this game, another fun idea for keeping the kids entertained and this game doesn’t really require adult supervision. Simply create and leave them to their own devices. There is hours of endless play tossing the bags through the hole. However if you want you could create a little competition with little prizes.

6/ No Sew DIY Sock Bunny

This is a fun activity for kids who are a little older, no sewing involved which is a win in my book and the end product is super cute. Again you could do this in the lead up to Easter with your family to create additional little keepsakes for around the home, or gather your supplies in advance for an afternoon activity when your guests have joined you.

We hope you’ve enjoyed this fun filled list of activities we’ve compiled in the lead up to Easter. It’s such a joyous time and there are so many great ideas that really bring the family together.

Do you have a family activity or tradition you like to do? We’d love to hear all about it.
